You have a good color variation and some really nice volumes in your rocks. Keep the volume you have but still take the rendering a little further this week. In particular, I think there are 2 main areas that you can improve upon right now:
- The shadows around most the rocks are pretty uniform, making them feel as if they have outlines. On the highlight side, get rid of the shadow all together. It's okay to have some with a shadow all around, it makes them feel sunk into the dirt, but be choosy with which ones you do this to.
- You have a few lines still apparent in the tiling. I'm going to post a quick image of where those lines are.
